Synopsis: Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu

Despite having an advanced degree, Moriyama Mikuri, a 25-year-old, has not been able to secure a permanent job. Currently, she is residing with her parents while working several temporary positions. Her latest work involves her helping single salaryman, Tsuzaki, with household chores. Mikuri aspires to launch her career in her area of expertise. Her Aunt Yuri, who regrets not getting married, achieved professional success and wishes the same for Mikuri. With her parents preparing to relocate to the countryside, Mikuri realizes her time to establish her vocation is limited. She is left with no other option but to join her parents in their move. However, Mikuri finds relief in the form of Tsuzaki, who needs her assistance with housekeeping and does not want to lose her. As a remedy to the potential scandal of cohabiting, they enter into a fictitious marriage. Mikuri now has to navigate the unique circumstance of being a woman eager to launch her career while also assuming the role of a "wife."
